"There must be quite a few things that a hot bath won't cure, but I don't know many of them." — Sylvia Plath

Here is Absinthe Rabbits process for creating the wonderfully warming BE MINE bath therapy just in time for a Valentine Soak

Begin by using your mortar and pestle to grind the cardamom pods, the aroma it will release is so nurturing, and the ancient use of mortar and pestle becomes part of the ritual of creating your own bath soak.

Add rose petals and ginger root and gentle use your mortar and pestle to open and blend

I use Himalayan Pink Salt for this particular recipe, It contains minerals and elements found in the human body and can help balance the bodys PH.

Add your carrier oil - I use sesame or jojoba for this recipe, you can also use apricot kernal, sunflower, or even olive oil.

Spoon into a drawstring muslin bag to drop into your bath and create an easy clean up. I also use the bag as I light skin scrub to release even more of the rose, cardamom and ginger and soften the skin

Ingredients:  (use organic if available)

3-4 whole cardamom pods

Handful of rose petals and buds

Sprinkling of ginger root

1 cup of Himalayan Pink (or preferred) Sea Salt

1-2 tspn of Sesame Oil (or preferred carrier oil, sesame is warming)

2-3 drops Rose essential oil and 1-2 drops Cardamom essential oil

Small drawstring muslin bag

Be creative, choose from a variety of salts and scents. One of my favorites is to combine our Ancient Botanical Fragrance with sandalwood, cedarwood, frankincense tears and cardamom pods with Dead Sea Salts. Or the beautiful STELLA MARIS with bay leaves and rose petals, reminiscent of the island in winter when the fog rolls against the roaring surf.
